Unlike most beef jerky, We naturally preserve our Biltong just as our ancestors did with no added nitrates or nitrites (carcinogenic preservatives)
Most beef jerky is also surprisingly high in sugar (upwards of 25%!) but our Biltong products have less sugar than a carrot. And because they're slow dried they're much more tender than jerky and retain over 90% of heat sensitive vitamins such as B12.
A BETTER, NATURAL SOURCE OF PROTEIN
Unlike traditional beef jerky, our Biltong and Droewors is minimally processed. They contain all essential amino acids and are much easier for your body to digest, which results in superior protein utilisation.
Our Biltong and Droewors is slow dried over a few days (the traditional South African way) which retains over 90% of heat sensitive vitamins such as B12. Around 80g of high quality red meat is dried to produce a 40g bar which makes Biltong Boss the perfect daily serve of red meat.

We pack and deliver our Biltong in wax paper bags to make sure that the pure traditional Biltong flavour is never lost like when you put it in a vaccum sealed bag.
